Built-up roofs – these solutions consist of multiple layers of tar paper or bitumen, alternated with aggregate, such as gravel. BUR is used mostly on flat roofs and can stay on the building for 20-30 years;
Metal – the material comes in the form of shingles or in large panels and is suitable for flat and pitching roofs alike. The alloys that metal roofs are made from are resistant to fire, corrosion and they can also stand up to heavy snow and winds, offering you protection for 30-50 years;
Clay and cement tiles – this classic material is used on pitched roofs and provide a lifespan of 50-100 years if the tiles are installed correctly.
